BASE Technologies 10, Westport Worldwide 8 – Joe Davis and Brandon Cooper each went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and two RBI to lead BASE Technologies in recent action. Mike Koch was solid in the field. For Westport, Eric Terhaar was 2-for-2 with a triple while Reid Schmidt banged out a triple. Harrison Snellback made a solid catch in the outfield.

Lee J. Demers, Builder 7, Westport Worldwide 6 – Troy Larsen came out of the bullpen to record the final out with the bases loaded in the sixth inning of the Explosives’ nail-biting victory Monday at Glander Field. Kyle Wilcox belted a two-run homer and added a double to power the offense while Dean Demers singled and Ben Stoller added a sacrifice fly. For Westport, Eric Terhaar had a two-run single and Alex Roche scored a run and drove in another. Richie Sandler doubled and Patrick Milano added a clutch single.

Lee J. Demers, Builder 15, PC Metals 4 – Chad Magoulas, Ben Stoller, Dean Demers and Stefan Hennessey banged out three hits apiece to lead Lee J. Demers, Builder to the win. Mac Morlock and Kyle Wilcox drove in three runs apiece while Chris Devaney had two hits and two RBI. For PC Metals, Gary Braun, Jeff Grasso and Nicky Sajovic collected two hits apiece. Braun and Grasso had doubles, with Grasso’s blast driving in two first-inning runs.

MasterCard International 12, BASE Technologies 11 – MasterCard rallied from 7-1 and 11-5 deficits to capture the victory Saturday at Sand Hook Field. Colton Sposta went 2-for-2 with a double and Tyler Gibney had two hits to lead the MastercArd attack. Sposta pitched two shutout innings and struck out six batters and Dan Poeltl also pitched a shutout inning. Mario Pizighelli made a great line drive catch at second base. For BASE, Patrick Sullivan rapped a double and a single and Matt Spencer had two singles. Michael Koch drove in a pair of runs as Sullivan and David Gerics combined to pitch four shutout innings.

Westport Worldwide 12, PC Metals 5 – Eric Terhaar went 4-for-4 and Reid Schmidt went 4-for-4 with four RBI to lead Westport to the win. Mike LoBosco tripled and singled and Patrick Milano doubled to lead the offense while Richie Sandler reached base on all four trips to the plate. For PC, pitchers Riley Wurtz and Jon Hull struck out eight batters in four innings as Wes Tardie led the offense with a double and a single.

Westport Worldwide 8, PC Metals 4 – Kevin LeBlanc went 4-for-4 and scored three runs to lead the Westport Worldwide Pirates. Richie Sandler stroked two hits, including a double, and Alex Roche scored three runs to round out the offense. Roche, Sandler and Chris Erikson each pitched a scoreless inning. Michael Allwein led PC Metals, getting on base all three at-bats. Gary Braun got two hits, and he and Wes Tardie doubled.

MasterCard International 8, PC Metals 7 – Dan Gustafson singled up the middle to drive in the game-winning run in the final inning at Liberty Field last week. Dan Poeltl stroked three hits, Nick Gerbo had two and Dean Baye drove in two runs to power the MasterCard offense. For PC, Chris Otero had a two-run single, Jeff Grasso singled and doubled, and Patrick Thornberg singled. Riley Wurtz pitched well.

Turner Construction 3, Storm Troopers 0 – Glen Damota stroked three hits and had two RBI while Kim Brello had two hits and two runs scored to lead Turner to the win. daMota, Jake Courchene-Roy and Matt Perun combined for the shutout. For the ‘Troopers, Connor Ryan and Michael Roche played solid defense while Alister Sore pitched well. Matt Maturo and Zachary Weiland led a late inning rally to catch Turner Construction.

Dina’s 6, Carminuccio’s Pizza 6 – Mathew Elias went 3-for-3 while Evan Sarvis doubled in two runs to lead Dina’s. Sydney Dimartino and Stephen Britten also had key hits. For Carminuccio’s, Albert Dean, Michael Parker and Jared Brady pitched well.

Turner Construction 5, Fireside Inn 5 – Joey Carrino doubled, singled twice and drove in three runs to lead Turner Construction. Matt Perun doubled, singled twice, scored three runs and drove in another.

Dina’s 7, Stormtroopers 1 – Griffen Davis belted a three-run homer and Kate Laaksonen added a key hit to lead Dina’s to the win. Evan Saravis doubled and Nathan Fitzgerald played well behind the plate. For the ‘Troopers, Ryan Kiss collected three hits and an RBI while John Carlson had a pair of hits and a run scored. Rob McCabe also had two hits while Paul O’Leary and Zach Weiland played well.

Dina’s 6, Turner Construction 4 – Spencer Tolson, Griffen Davis and Chance McMahon belted doubles to power the Dina’s offense. Mathew Elias and Jack Procaccini pitched well. For Turner, Ryan King, Ryan Conway and Connor Flint combined to bang out six hits and score three runs. Glenn Damota pitched well, striking out three.
