Congregation Adath Israel hosted a Hanukkah Happening drop-in event on Sunday, December 11, at C.H. Booth Library, for people to participate in games and crafts.
Adath Israel teacher Lynn Wiener and education director David Smith were both on hand for the day, helping at the different stations in the library's community room.
Snacks were offered near where children were playing together with dreidels.
At another table children, parents and grandparents decorated paper menorahs and dreidels. And across the room, Ms Wiener explained a "Hanukkah Symbol" display offered a showcase of dreidels and Chanukiahs.
