Stubbs To Run Marathon For Autism Cure
Stubbs To Run Marathon For Autism Cure
Andy Stubbs, a Newtown resident who lives at 17 Tunnel Road, is running the New York City Marathon on November 4 to raise funds for Cure Autism Now, in honor of his nephews. Mr Stubbs has been training for the marathon, his first, for the past four months, logging more than 500 miles on Newtown and area roads.
He hopes to raise money for Cure Autism Now, an organization dedicated to fund research for a cure to autism, and accelerate awareness of this devastating brain disorder. Mr Stubbsâ nephews, Ryan and Kyle Stubbs, also Newtown residents, have been diagnosed on the autistic spectrum. Their parents, Tim and Laurie Stubbs, live on Susan Lane.
Anyone who would like to help sponsor Andy Stubbs as he runs the NYC Marathon may make a check out to Cure Autism Now, and mail to Andy Stubbs, Cure Autism Now, 17 Tunnel Road, Newtown, CT 06470. For more information, call 203 364-1737.
