George Lewis Sacrider, 72, of Salem, N.Y., beloved husband of Angela Sacrider, died in Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, on October 11.
He is survived by a daughter, Frieda Potok and her husband, Ken, of Newtown.
A resident of New Fairfield for many years, Mr Sacrider worked for Castro Convertible Company in Danbury. He and his wife left New Fairfield in 1972 and established a restaurant in Salem. The couple enjoyed traveling and spent many enjoyable moments in Hawaii.
In addition to his wife, daughter, and son-in-law, Mr Sacrider is survived by his two other children, George Sacrider and his wife, Peggy, and Gary Sacrider and his wife, Jeanne, all of New Fairfield; seven grandchildren, Michelle, Aaron, Kate, Liz, Andrew, Amanda, and Chris; his brother, Richard Sacrider and his wife, Jean, of Danbury; and many nieces and nephews.
Interment was private. A memorial ceremony will be held on Saturday, October 20, at 10 am at Saint Edward Church in New Fairfield.
