‘A Lady Alone’

At Pomperaug Woods

SOUTHBURY — On Friday, November 3, at 3 pm, Pomperaug Woods, 80 Heritage Road, will host a program entitled, “A Lady Alone,” about Elizabeth Blackwell, MD, the first woman doctor in America. Linda Gray Kelley will portray the life of Dr Blackwell and her struggle to succeed in a male-dominated profession.
