Mr and Mrs Leonard A. Tomasello, Jr
Chelsa Elizabeth Stiewing and Leonard Anthony Tomasello, Jr, were joined in marriage June 23 at St Maryâs Church in Ridgefield with the Rev Robert Morrissey officiating.
The bride is the daughter of James and Deborah Stiewing of Newtown. The groom is the son of Leonard and Irene Tomasello of Ridgefield.
The bride wore an ivory strapless satin gown with beading across the bodice and along the edge of the cathedral-length train. She carried a bouquet of ivory roses and stephanotis bound in satin ribbon with pearl buttons.
The maids of honor were Brook and Jessica Stiewing, sisters of the bride.
The bridesmaids were Marabeth Pereira and Jennifer Cafarelli, sisters of the groom, Heidi Dominakus, Debra Haleks and Kelly Thomas.
Flower girls were Katelyn Cafarelli and Faith Pereira, nieces of the groom.
The bridal attendants wore a pale sage green Jim Hjelm dress and carried bouquets of ivory roses, with a touch of pale lavender, yellow, and pink roses bound in satin ribbon with pearl buttons.
The best man was Sean Perkins, the groomâs best friend.
The ushers were Glenn Stiewing, brother of the bride, Thomas Cafarelli and Joseph Pereira, the groomâs brothers-in-law, and Michael DelRe, George Meropoilos, and Richard Simmons.
The bell ringer was Nicholas Petronchak, cousin of the groom, and the ring bearer was Jeremy Stiewing, cousin of the bride.
The bride graduated from Newtown High School and from Southern Connecticut State University with a bachelorâs of science in psychology. She is presently completing her masterâs degree in counseling while working as a corporate trainer for Cendant Mobility Inc in Danbury.
The groom graduated from Ridgefield High School and Purdue University with a bachelorâs of science in mathematics/statistics. He is currently the manager of the accounts payable department for Timber Hill Brokerage Firm in Greenwich.
The reception was held at the Inn at Ethan Allen in Danbury.
Following a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, Mr and Mrs Tomasello, Jr, will be residing in New Milford.
