Jeannette R. Soriero
Jeannette R. Soriero, 87, of Danbury, died August 19, at Pope John Paul II Care and Rehabilitation Center in Danbury. She was born November 11, 1924, in Port Chester, N.Y., the daughter of Jeanne (Bédat) and Albert Roy. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Soriero.
Her daughter and son-in-law, Gina and Mike Long of Sandy Hook; and two grandsons, Michael and Thomas Long, survive Mrs Soriero.
Originally living in Parkchester, in the Bronx, before moving to Heritage Village in Southbury in 1993, she was active in the Heritage Village Genealogy and Italian Clubs. She also enjoyed bowling and was an avid animal lover. Mrs Soriero was a devout Catholic and enjoyed attending Mass.
Funeral services were held privately.
