Erminia Vanzini
Erminia (Guzzetti) Vanzini, 97, a longtime resident of Bethel, died May 17, at the Bethel Health Care Center. She was born in Cislago, Italy, one of 12 children.
She immigrated to the United States in 1932 after marrying her husband Frank, who predeceased her. Mrs Vanzini and her husband learned to read and speak English well, and earned their US citizenship.
Two children, Diana Wellman, and her husband Eric, of Newtown and Louis Vanzini, and his wife Maureen, of New Jersey; four grandsons; and six great-grandchildren survive Mrs Vanzini.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the Bethel Health Care Center for the wonderful and professional care given to their loved one.
A graveside service at St Maryâs Cemetery, Bethel, took place May 22.
