Why Business Financial Statements Matter

NORWALK — It is essential for every small business owner to be conversant in financial statements and understand what they can reveal about one’s business; yet many business owners are too intimidated to even attempt to decode them.

The Women’s Business Development Council is presenting a five-session series is designed for all levels of entrepreneurs. It will show the small business owner what information financial statements provide and why it is critical to understand them.

Join WBDC’s financial expert Chris Schoen, who will provide guidance in reviewing these statements in a clear, easy-to-understand manner, Saturday, February 25, through March 31, from 9:30 to 11:45 am at Norwalk Community College.

The class schedule is:

February 25, Session I: Overview of financial statements and Income Statement

March 3, Session II: Focus on Cash Flow

March 17, Session IV: Interrelationship of Statements and Analytic tools

March 31, Session V: Interrelationship of Statements and Analytic tools
