Maria Susan (Lariccia) Manion, 89, of Bethel, died April 24, at Bethel Health Care, after a short illness. She was the widow of Gerald H. Manion, Sr. She was born in Danbury, January 14, 1922, daughter of Felice and Maria (Magliaro) Lariccia.
Two sons, Gerald H. Manion, Jr and his wife, Patricia, of Sandy Hook and Stephen P. Manion of Newtown; two siblings; and two grandchildren survive Mrs Manion. Her parents, a brother, and a sister predeceased her.
She was a graduate of Danbury High School, and she became a resident of Bethel in 1950 after her marriage.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated April 28. Burial will be in St Maryâs Cemetery, Bethel.
