ADIRONDACK ANTIQUES WEEKEND TO OFFER PAIR OF ANTIQUES SHOWS SEPT. 20–21 w/1 cut

INDIAN LAKE, N.Y. — A full weekend of antiquing will be offered in Central Adirondacks this fall. The Town of Indian Lake, N.Y., and the Adirondack at Blue Mountain Lake, N.Y., have joined forces to offer Adirondack Antiques Weekend, September 20–21.

The 17th annual Adirondack Mountains Antique Show in Indian Lake, N.Y., will be in Byron Park on Saturday, September 20. The show is a source for rustic and camp furniture, hunting and fishing antiques, boats, taxidermy, antlers and Native American materials.

An antiques show and sale will also return to the Adirondack Museum on September 20 and 21, after an absence of many years. Managed by Rod Lich, Inc of Georgetown, Ind., the show will feature approximately 40 antiques dealers from many of the historic resort areas of the United States. Offerings will include a full range of premier and antique and vintage furnishings for the camp, cabin and collection.

Shuttle buses will make the scenic 11-trip between the hamlets of Indian Lake and Blue Mountain Lake throughout the day on September 20 for show patrons.

Both shows will offer a preview party on September 10. Enjoy both previews with a $130 joint ticket by calling 518-352-7311, extension 119.

The Indian Lake Antiques Show preview will be from noon to 3 pm. Tickets for this event only are $40; call 518-648-5828.

The Adirondack Museum will host it preview party and benefit from 3 to 6 pm. Tickets are $100 and can be purchased in advance by calling 518-352-7311, extension 119.
