To the Editor:

If we were residents of Newtown still, we would wholeheartedly endorse George Ferguson for state representative.

George Ferguson — what a breath of fresh air! He is a person of “live within your paycheck.” How novel is that? George has the ability to bring to the district a strong background of fiscal management and knowledge on how to have government start in our own backyard. We need to start locally on how we want government to be run — and then move on to the next step. If we don’t take control of our local government, we will never be able to move forward.

How impressive is his background! George is not a person to seek personal thanks, but a man of great integrity who will work endlessly for the residents of his district.

If only we had the chance — we would vote for George Ferguson — and hope that you will also.

Thank you for this opportunity to endorse such a man whose only interest is in bringing the best to his constituents.
