Girls U13

West Hartford 4, Power 1 (State Cup) – With 10 minutes left, the defending State Cup champions broke open a 1-1 tie and earned the win. Celeste Cheung had the lone goal for the Power while Kendall Svanda played a superb game in goal. Christina Caporale played a strong midfield throughout the contest.

Litchfield 2, Power 1 – Kendall Svanda scored the lone goal for the Power in a loss to Litchfield. Nicole Davis, Ale Fuentes, and Nora Murphy all pressured on offense while Brooke Leifels and Cristina Naldini both played well on defense.

Boys U13

Force 4, Norwalk 0 (State Cup) – Chris McGowan, Justin Brophy, Sean Burson and John Imbimbo scored the goals to lift the Force to a first-round State Cup victory. Peter Ovendorf and Imbimbo provided assists while Josh Gilbert played a great defensive game.

Force 3, Danbury 1 – Chris McGowan, Justin Brophy and Francis Afriyie scored for Newtown as Cameron Clark and John Imbimbo recorded assists. Michael Mossbarger also played a good game to help Newtown capture the win.

Girls U12

Flash 2, Farmington 1 (CT Cup) – Brittany Tolla scored a pair of goals off assists from Kristy Papaj and Bridget Power to lead the Flash to the win.

Flash 2, New Fairfield 0 – Stephanie Roman scored two goals to lift the Flash over New Fairfield. Melissa Buccino was tough in goal with Kristen Grabowski and Morgan Kirol providing solid defense. Kristy Papaj, Kelly Brooks and Kristiana Engler were awesome on mid-field as well as Lindsay Jossick, Amy Martin, Tressa Scott and Katie Shirley.

Boys U11

Beasts 4, Southbury 3 – Stefan Dullinger scored a pair of goals while  Jonah Muniz and Robert Linden added one apiece to lead the Beast to the win. Sam Pliszka added a pair of assists. Connor Gallagher pressured on offense all day with Brandon Marks strong in the midfield. Doug Miller and Austin Raftery were solid in goal.

Girls U10

Lightning 6, Monroe 1 – Kailee Dunnigan scored three goals as the Lightning shocked Monroe. Megan Meyer, Sarah Lynch and Dale Shearin also scored as Siena Cicarelli and Meaghan Brophy had strong defensive games.

Lightning 2, Watertown 0 – Dale Shearin scored two goals to lift the Lightning past Watertown. Amy Martinelli and Taylor Lafave also played well on offense while Emily Riley and Caroline Tanner were great in the goal for the 5-0 Lightning.

Boys U10

White Lightning 7, New Hartford 1 – Clay Gattey scored three goals as the White Lightning blasted New Hartford. Sawyer Conrad, Kaj Djonne, Luca Imbimbo and Brenton Scott also scored while Kevin Droniak, Knute Johnson, Ryan King, Colin Reilly, Constant Gregoire and Nathyn Horvath all had assists.

Girls U14

Purple Pirates 3, Danbury 0 – Emily Dion, Jillian Thompson and Alyssa Finkenstadt (the first goal of her career) tallied to lead the Pirates past Danbury. Emily Lones and Madigan Chrystie had strong games in goal while Megan O’Connell and Randi Jackson played very well at forward.

Purple Pirates 2, Hurricanes 1 – Lauren Pettinelli scored a pair of goals in a narrow win for the Pirates. Ali Blume and Daniella Genovese played solid in goal while Katie Peters and Emily Dion had strong games playing defense. For the Hurricanes, midfielder Elena Unschuld scored the lone goal with an assist from sweeper Samantha Whitley. Goalies Samantha Lew and Kyra Smith had had great games.

Hurricanes 1, Turf D’s 1 – Samantha Whitley of the Hurricanes and Emma Iannini of the Turf D’s scored the lone goals in this 1-1 draw. For the ‘Canes, goalies Michelle Spanedda and Molly Arneth had excellent games while Grace McKinley and Kristen DeGirolamo had strong all-around games. For the D’s, Sarah Stofko and Margo Trainer were solid in the net while Lauren Sarna and Alyse Brautigam sparked the defense.

Sharpshooters 3, Rage 0 – Gabrielle Milano, Zoe Eggleston (on an assist from Jenna Bonoccorso) and Sarah McMahon (on an assist from Caroline Lawrence) scored to lead the Sharpshooters to the win. Meagan Foy also played great. For the Rage, Katie Burns and Matilda Dean played well in goal as Andrea Soyegh, Alexandra Duris and Kasturi Mitra had fine all-around performances.

Boys U14

Meteors 6, Danbury 5 – Kieran Lardner scored a pair of goals and assisted on three others to lead the Meteors to the win. Jack McManus tallied a pair while Jake Moore had a goal and an assist. Will Fletcher also scored. Michael Teixeira and Austin Isola were strong on D.

Dynamite 4, Wolves 2 – Craig Frigon scored twice and William Carr and Tanner Janesky each chipped in a goal to lead the Dynamite to victory. Andy Hsu played a great game at midfield while Mac and Wesley Morlock each played outstanding on defense to preserve the win. For the Wolves, Kevin Dill and Tom DiLuoffo each scored a goal. Ivan Hutchison played a great game at midfield and Nick Snyder played strong on defense.

Liverpool 3, TNT 0 – Tyler Hanna , Reid Higham and Jake Tolson were all effective in offense leading Liverpool to their win. Dieter Gutbrod anchored the defense and Jake Tolson also did a fine job as Keeper. TNT forwards Devin DiNicola and Mike Terlaga kept the Liverpool keeper busy while Tom Giarratano and Miles Dobbrow also had solid performances. Chris Arnone was strong in goal.

Girls U10

Comets 2, Tie Dye Tigers 1 – Tonya Tucker and Christy Vos Winkel scored to lift the Comets to the win. Trisha Sullivan and Kayla Crisalli were strong in goal while Hannah Delia paced the D. For the Tigers, Emily Grimes scored the goal while Jesse Sailer and Ashley Maturo played well on offense. Rebecca Grant had an excellent game in net.

Strikers 3, Gladiators 1 – Emily Davis scored two goals and Brenna Kelly tallied one to lead the Strikers to the win. Emma Burns and Katie Bedell played well in goal and Ryan Cassin had a good game. For the Gladiators, Raquel Crespo scored while Rachel Saint, Denise Kuban and Stephanie Devaney all had good games.

Twisters 4, Rockets 0 – Katie Mossbarger (on an assist from Maggie Kost), Sarah Craig (on an assist from Emily Campbell), Hope McMorran and Paige Thanasoulis all scored to lift the Twisters to the win. For the Rockets, Cate Haggerty played a rugged game on defense as Morgan Macchiarulo made a solid contribution in goal. Kelly Coughlin and Emily Pieretti moved the ball well on offense.

Boys U10

Camel Shards 3, Huskies 0 – Matthew Mossbarger scored a pair of goals and Daniel Colucci added one to lead the Camel Shards to the win. James Barry did a great job on defense and Connor Roche played well on offense for the Shards. Carter Nordman did an amazing job as goalie for the Huskies while Ryan Durr had great control in midfield. Danny Romeo played a great game overall.

Camel Shards 4, Scorpions 0 – Henry Summ had a two-goal afternoon to lead the Camel Shards to a win over the Scorpions. John Carlson and Daniel Colucci both tallied a score apiece to round out the scoring. For the Scorpions, Tyler Dullinger and Isaiah Volpe lead a continued attack on offense. Matthew Janco anchored the defense with Kyle Watkins playing a strong game in the net.

Dynamite 4, Scorpions 0 – Alec Beauchmin, Mitchell Stewart, Connor Miller and Danny Tobin all scored for the Dynamite. Michael Berko also played well on offense while Jacob Hill and Chris Zakur played great in goal to preserve the shutout. For the Scorpions, Liam Nichols played a great all around game and Daniel Cummings and Matthew Janco played strong to anchor the defense. Zachary Weiland also played well in the goal.

The Oskars 4, Hurricanes 0 – Timothy Kelly and Mustafa Sakhi scored to lead the Oskars to the win. Tommy Shaker had a great offensive game and Matthew Hess was solid in goal. For the Hurricanes, Stephen Brittin and David Csorsdas played good overall games and Sander Nydell had a strong game in goal.

Wolverines 4, Huskies 1 – Harry Solaski scored three goals and Matt Wood added one to power the Wolverines. Trey Dewald and Brandon Rodriguez anchored the D with Zach Waller in the net. For the Huskies, Charlie Poarch scored the goal with Travis Hanna and Matt Barra leading the offense and Alister Sore with a solid effort in the keeper spot.

Boys U8

Super Strikers 2, Patriots 1 – Nicholas Genovese scored two goals to lead the Strikers to the win. Forrest Weatherby and Korey Brodsky sparked the D. For the Patriots, Connery Mayer scored the goal, Riley Burns had many third quarter saves in net, Zachary Boland showed excellent passing skills and Andrew Lee hustled to keep the pressure on for the whole game.

Team (#10) 6, Silver Scorpions 1 – Michael Meyer and Sean Ferris scored two goals a piece as Team #10 beat the Silver Scorpions. CJ Shambelan and Jack Vaughan also scored. For the Scorpions, Jake Oliger scored as Cayden Dunn and Ellis Hubbard played well.

Blasters 3, Superchargers 2 – Michael Liberante started off the scoring for the Blasters with Trevor Gaines and Grant Larson turning in solid defense. Andrey Masser scored both goals for the SuperChargers with Owen Sampson and Henry Korth playing well.

Girls U8

Rockets 5, Pink Panthers 0 – Brittany Antous scored three goals to power the Rockets to the win. Christiana Moore and Sarah Lyon also scored. For the Panthers, Lauren Russo anchored the defense while Kelly Merrick and Mallory Lobuglio were solid on offense.

Huskies 5, Power 1 – Katie Laaksonen scored three goals while Sydney Johnson and Erin Tressler tallied a goal apiece to lead the Huskies. Emily Toby played a fine defensive game. For the Power, Caroline Caporale scored the goal as Sophia Albano played well in net and Kayla Disibio played well in defense.

Fighting Irish 3, Mustangs 2 – Jillian Peritti, Madeline Sieber and Alexandra Manoni all scored the lead the Irish past the Mustangs. Megan Goyda and Lauren Villamanna played well all-around. For the Mustangs, Lauren Beier scored twice while Lauren King, Nevan Gattey and Alana Murray played well on offense.

Skunks 2, Wildcats 1 – Emily Charash scored both goals with assists from Maddie Bridges and Ashling Sugarman to lead the Skunks. Haley Elise was aggressive on defense. For the Wildcats, Sarah Durr scored the goal with a wicked shot from the right corner. Lauren Cirone played solid on defense and did a great job of breaking to the goal on offense. Taylor Pare anchored the defense and Erin Nelson kept the game close with two great saves in goal.

Happy Hippos 1, Killers 0 – Stephanie Haas scored the lone goal in the win. Julia Doyle and Marina Renzi played well on offense as Jamie Calandro and Amanda Albanesi anchored the D. For the Killers, Mackenzie Macchiarulo played great in goal as Danielle Mola and Emily Neave power the offense and Margaret Elkins paced the defense.

Mad Monkeys 6, Soccer Shockers 2 – Caitlin Filiato scored three goals and Katherine Clark scored two to lead the Mad Monkeys to the win. Geralyn Klein also scored while Veronica Meyer anchored the D. For the Shockers, Kimberly Brello and Jacquiline Mooney scored with assists from Caitlyn Clark and Catherine McHugh. Eliza Eggelston played solid all around.

Boys U6

Blue Sharks 2, Fire Kickers 1 – Mark Hall scored two goals to lead the Sharks. Ian Shull played well on offense as Christian Adam played awesome defense. Kyle Roche helped the team to its first win by protecting the goal in the fourth quarter. For the Kickers, Aidan Ford scored the goal. Peter Fagerholm was solid on offense while Hunter Procaccini was super on defense. Jack Dooley had a strong game in goal.
