Colleen Wicklund and Donald Gabriel, Jr, were united in marriage on March 10 at St Stephenâs Church in Trumbull with the Rev Stephen J. Gleeson officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Robert Wicklund of Monroe.
The groom is the son of Mr and Mrs Donald Gabriel, Sr, of Trumbull.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
The maid of honor was Amy Krasenics of Bridgeport.
The bridesmaids were Keri Krywick of Huntington, Jennifer Rhodes of Katonah, N.Y., Eileen Kundert, the brideâs cousin, of Bridgeport, and Jessica Gabriel, the groomâs sister, of Trumbull.
The best man was Michael Gabriel, brother of the groom, of Trumbull.
The ushers were Robert Wicklund, Jr, and Scott Wicklund, the brideâs brothers, of Monroe, and Chris Gabriel and Nicholas Gabriel, the groomâs brothers, of Trumbull.
The bride graduated from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield with a masterâs in education. She is a third grade teacher at Laurel Ledge Elementary School in Beacon Falls.
The groom graduated from Johnson & Wales University and the University of New Haven. He is co-owner of World of Wine and Spirits of Newtown.
The reception was held at 500 Blake Street in New Haven.
Following a wedding trip to St Lucia, Mr and Mrs Gabriel are residing in Sandy Hook.
