A Healthy Blue
A Healthy Blue
Blue, after three years on the loose, was finally in the care of loving hands (see The Newtown Bee, May 5) and is reportedly in very good health. A routine veterinary exam and blood work indicates that she does not have heartworm and, despite being on her own for nearly three years, Blue is in very good health. Blue is transitioning to âfamily lifeâ exceptionally well. Her foster family reports that Blue loves to be held and hugged and greets them every morning with a wagging tail. She shows no signs of aggressive behavior whatsoever. Blue is still shy meeting new people, but she goes on car rides and walks every day. The goal of this socialization process is to gradually get her comfortable with new people, sights and sounds so that she no longer fears this big world around her.
