*THE DOUG WAHLBERG BAND will be at Georgetown Saloon this weekend, playing a 9 pm show at the Redding venue.
The guys will then be at Kicking Horse Grill in Southport on Friday, November 21, and the following night theyâll be back in the Big Apple, playing at The R-Bar in The Bowery. The band has a party bus set up for this show, so if youâre interested in going to see Doug and crew and donât want to have to worry about driving into or out of the city for whatever reason, give Bob a call at 203-512-2770 and see if thereâs still a seat with your name on it available.
*Tickets have gone on sale, at least as of 10 am Friday (November 7), for the December 13 show by AVENGED SEVENFOLD at the Chevrolet Theatre in Wallingford. Shinedown, Shadows Fall and Burn Halo will all be opening.
Reserved seating and general admission pit tickets are available for this show, both priced at $36; visit LiveNation.com for tickets.
*Speaking of tickets it looks like there are still some available for next weekâs TOWER OF POWER show at The Palace Theater in Waterbury. The November 13 show also includes a set by Average White Band, and offers VIP ticket holders the opportunity to enjoy a catered preshow party.
Regular priced tickets are $40, and the VIP tickets are $75. The event will kick off the theaterâs annual fund campaign and will include the unveiling of a plaque in honor of the late Domenic Temporale, who owned the historic theater prior to its restoration and was a dutiful steward of the treasured landmark.
Call for details or reservations, 203-755-4700.
*If thereâs any chance you have tickets for JANET JACKSON at Mohegan Sun Arena and havenât already heard, itâs official: The concert that was postponed from October 11 has now been canceled. The venue and Jacksonâs management announced on October 30 that there will not be a rescheduled date after all.
Anyone who purchased tickets for this show should return to the point of purchase for refunds. Those who purchased tickets at TicketMaster.com or via phone will be refunded automatically.
Until next week Iâll be seeing you... on the road.
