DUI Arrest

Police said that at about 1:24 am on July 3, they stopped a motorist who was driving on South Main Street, near Blue Spruce Drive, because his vehicle was not keeping to the right side of the road.

After investigating, police charged motorist Bryan Duch, 32, of Monroe with driving under the influence and with failure to drive to the right. Police held Duch on $100 bail for arraignment later that day in Danbury Superior Court.

DUI Charge

About 10:26 pm June 30, police received a report that a motorist was driving erratically southward on South Main Street, near that road’s intersection with Mile Hill Road, so they went to the area to investigate.

Police said they then stopped motorist Keith Eldridge, 43, of Shelton near 188 South Main Street to investigate because they spotted an object hanging from his vehicle’s interior rear-view mirror, which obstructed the view of the road.

After investigating, police charged Eldridge with driving under the influence and with driving with an obstructed view. Eldridge posted $500 bail and was released for a July 15 court appearance.

Warrant

After learning that police held a warrant for his arrest, Julio Villa, 39, of Danbury came to the police station on the evening of July 2 and was charged with failure to have automotive insurance, police report.

The charge stems from a motor vehicle accident that occurred last November 26, police said. Police released Villa on a written promise to appear in Danbury Superior Court on July 16.
