Richard T. Peck, 87, of Gloversville, N.Y., died Thursday, May 22, at Wilkinson Residential Health Care Facility in Amsterdam, N.Y., following a long illness. He was born January 23, 1921, in Bridgeport, the son of Wesley and Louise Dubrit Peck.
He is survived by his wife, Edith Eckert Peck of Gloversville; two brothers, Kenneth Peck of Newtown and Robert Peck and his wife, Frances, of Southbury; four children, Dawn Watkins and husband, Jack, of New Milford; John Peck of Rocky Hill; William Peck and wife, Nettie, of Bradley Beach, N.J., and Elizabeth Pendergast and husband, Thomas, of New Milford; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Eunice Whittle Peck, and by his brother, Wesley Peck.
Mr Peck served in the US Marine Corps during World War II. He was a carpenter and builder, and was employed by the Carpenters Union #210 in Hamden. He had resided in the Gloversville area the past 20 years.
Private services will take place at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, Gloversville.
 Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the charity of oneâs choice.
