Beloved Wife
And Mother
Agnes T. Haynos, 73, beloved wife of Theodore F. Haynos of Newtown, died January 21 in Danbury Hospital of a cerebral aneurysm. She was born in the Bronx, N.Y., on February 10, 1934, a daughter of Thomas and Ellen (Kilhenny) Hunter.
 Mrs Haynos was raised and educated in New York City and was a graduate of Hunter College where she received bachelorâs and masterâs degrees in history and economics. Mrs Haynos was employed as a unit secretary at Bethel Health Care Rehabilitation Center. A resident of Newtown since 1975, she was a communicant of St Rose of Lima Parish and previously resided in Europe with her family.
Mrs Haynos will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, and friend. Her shoes will be hard to fill and she leaves a hole in the hearts of all that knew and loved her.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Sue Henke of Tustin, Calif., Judy Haynos of Baltimore, Md., and Matthew Haynos of Ridgefield. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Edward Henke, Alex Lawrence, and Peter and Aaron Haynos. She is predeceased by a daughter, Karen Haynos.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St Rose of Lima Church on Saturday, January 26, at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call at the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, on Friday, January 25, from 4 to 7 pm.
