No Political Preferences

Canine Advocates of Newtown, Inc appreciates the opportunity to react to Matt de Angelis’s advertisement in The Newtown Bee (May 11) of which we had no prior knowledge.

While all donations to the Building Fund for a New Pound for Newtown are welcome, and Canine Advocates is grateful for all that Matt has done to help us in our efforts to aid the pound dogs, we would like to stress that we are a grassroots local organization that recognizes no political preferences or personal affiliations.  Our sole constituency is the homeless animals of Newtown.
