John Potucek, 79, of Trumbull, beloved husband of the late Priscilla (Kosa) Potucek, November 18 died at his home. Born in Czechoslovakia, he resided in the area most of his life.
Survivors include one son, John M. Potucek and his wife, Amy, of Sandy Hook; two daughters, Janice Richardson and her husband, Dennis, of Trumbull, and Jill Tulley and her husband, Scott, of Oxford; three brothers, Paul Potucek of Shelton, Michael Potucek and his wife, Margaret, of Trumbull, and Martin Potucek and his wife, Linda, of Florida; two grandchildren, Nicole Potucek and Jessica Tulley; a dear friend, Brad McClellan; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Judy Potucek.
Mr Potucek was a self-employed business owner. He also was a veteran of the US Marine Corps and a past commander of the Marine Corps League.
Funeral services were held November 21 in the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Trumbull. Interment was in Aspetuck Cemetery. Larson Funeral Home, 2496 North Avenue, Bridgeport was in charge of arrangements.
