‘Guys & Dolls’ Auditions Planned

DANBURY — The producers of the highly successful performances Broadway Bound and Oliver! for Stage Door Productions are once again calling all interested talent to audition for their upcoming winter musical, Guys & Dolls.

Auditions will be held on Sunday, November 5, at the Portuguese Cultural Center, 65 Sand Pit Road. Auditions will run from noon until 3 pm, with callbacks at 4.

Producers are calling for teens and adults who can act, sing, and dance. Those auditioning should bring an upbeat song and a ballad with sheet music to perform. A piece from the show would be helpful, but not required.

Also, be prepared to learn a simple dance routine; therefore, wear comfortable shoes (no heels, etc.).

Headshots and resumes are preferred.

The performances will be on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons, February 23 until March 11.

Rehearsal schedules will be discussed at time of auditions, and you will be asked to inform the production staff of any rehearsal or show date conflicts as well.
