Wayne Richard Socci, 35, of Danbury, died unexpectedly October 23. He was born in Norwalk on September 29, 1972, son of Dominic Socci of Newtown and Diana (Hellyer) Socci of Bronson, Mich.

Mr Socci attended Norwalk schools and had been employed as an auto body repairman. He was an artistic and creative blacksmith and welder. “Rit” was fun loving with a great sense of humor and would do anything for anyone. He was a loving son and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. He loved children and animals.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his half brothers, Matthew, Christopher, and Eric Socci of Newtown; his maternal grandmother, Louise LaRusso of Bronson, Mich; his girlfriend, Sheila Servidio of Danbury; his father’s companion, Sharon Lucsky of Newtown; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 27, at 8 pm, in the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown. Interment will be private. Friends may call Friday from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Honan Funeral Home.
