Trinity Day Schools Says Thanks

To the Editor:

Trinity Day School would like to send out a heartfelt thank you to all who contributed products and services to make our Annual Fun Fair and Silent Auction, on May 6, a great success. The generosity of local businesses and our charitable community has helped Trinity Day School enormously, enabling us to update equipment and supplies and to expand our literacy program. All of our preschool children benefit directly from your kindness.

The following businesses supported our event and in turn we’d like to encourage you to support them: Aqua Environmental, Associated Refuse Haulers, Bagel Delight, Big Y, Carminuccio’s, Coach’s Deli, Costco, Curves, Cycle Fitness, Dunkin’ Donuts, El Coyote Restaurant, Elizabeth Ricci Fine Gifts, English Drug Store, Fireside Inn, Fitness 4000, Graceful Planet, Hero for Men Barbering, Kidsfit, Lathrop School of Dance, Lexington Gardens, Little Green Barn, Magic Garden, Mr Mac’s Canteen, My Place, Newtown Carwash, Newtown Cleaners, Newtown Country Mill, Newtown Hardware, Paws on Main, Photoland, Planet Play, Ricci’s Salon, Sal E Pepe Restaurant, Santa Fuel, Silver Lining, South Main Pizza, Starbucks, Style, Top Flight Sports Center, Toy Journey (Southbury), The Toy Tree, Truly Yours, Universal Tile, Villarina’s Pasta Shop, and Yoga Dimensions.

We would also like to thank all the tireless volunteers who donated their valuable time and talents to make sure our Fun Fair and Silent Auction ran smoothly. Both were huge hits because of the commitment from all of you. We also want to recognize all the TDS families who donated products to their children’s class baskets and brought their children to enjoy the Fun Fair.

Special thanks go to the World of Bikes for donating a child’s bicycle for our raffle, Sara Jasinski and Usborne books for donating $267 worth of books to TDS and to Kim Hossler for her artistic talents and precious time spent illustrating and assembling all of our carnival themed posters, each of which is a masterpiece that will be treasured for many events to come.

Most of all, thanks to the TDS children — we do it all for you!

Sincerely,

Tracy Schmid
