To the Editor:

Once again, the Salvation Army needs your help in bell ringing.  Let's make it a banner year and show what it means to be nicer and Newtown.  Almost all of the funds raised remain in Newtown which enables our Social Services department in helping our citizens.

The slots are for one hour time periods. Anyone can do anything for an hour! The locations are Stop and Shop, Yankee Wine and Liquor, Walgreens and Dunkin Donuts (what wonderful businesses - thank you!) The dates we are ringing are Friday, December 6, Saturday December 7, Friday, December 13 and Saturday, December 14.  Friday nights are from 4 pm ending at 8 pm and Saturday hours are 9 am ending at 4 pm.  Please consider giving an hour of your time.
