 B’nai Israel Offers Worship Services

For Families With Young Children

SOUTHBURY — B’nai Israel, a Reform congregation, invites young children and their families to share in two different Sabbath worship experiences for the “7 and under” crowd. Tot Shabbat services include a half-hour children’s service led by Rabbi Eric Polokoff, with songs led by teen musicians. The services conclude with refreshments, and include social time for adults and play time for children.

Tot Shabbat meets once per month on a Saturday morning at 9:15 and once per month on a Friday evening. Most Friday evening services include a potluck supper at 5:45, followed by the service at 6:45. All services are held at B’nai Israel, at the Walzer Family Jewish Community Campus, 444 Main Street North.

Upcoming Tot Shabbat services are scheduled for Saturday mornings, December 10 and January 14, and on Friday evenings, January 20 and February 17. All are welcomed to attend. For more information call the B’nai Israel office at 267-3394.
