To the Editor:

I would like to help you get to know Jeff Capeci, a candidate for Legislative Council in the 3rd District. I have known Jeff for the past eight years, first as a neighbor and now as friend. Jeff and his wife, Tanya, a native of Newtown, are raising their two children in our fair town. The qualities that I have admired in Jeff as my neighbor and friend are the same qualities that give him the potential to be an outstanding councilman.

As a consummate family man, Jeff is passionate about the community in which he and his wife are raising their children. His concerns for Newtown are my concerns: outstanding schools, affordable taxes, and controlled growth and development, to name a few. Jeff is an intelligent man who exhibits a great capacity to understand complex issues and develop rational and sound solutions. Jeff has an undefeatable “can do” attitude and the ability to tackle problems head on. Oh, and did I mention he is a really nice guy?

I believe Jeff will apply all of these qualities to the job of councilman and serve the community of Newtown well. There are many complex issues facing our town and I for one would like to see a man of Jeff’s caliber working on practical and sound solutions. Please let your voice be heard this Tuesday by voting for the candidates you believe are the best leaders for Newtown. I will be voting for Jeff Capeci.
