Television Internships At CommuniTyVision 21
Charter Communicationsâ CommuniTyVision 21 is accepting applications for its video production internship program. Internships are free and are open on a first-come, first-served basis to residents of the Charter franchise area.
Interns will receive extensive training in all aspects of video production and can use the experience to produce their own community television programs for airing on CommuniTyVision 21.
The internship offers various opportunities to many different people. High school and college students can receive school credit. The program has also proved helpful to some people as a way to gain valuable experience in a new career path. Others simply enjoy getting involved in the community and working with others who hold similar interests.
All of the interns are encouraged to produce their own community-based programs and receive a âcertificate of completionâ at the end of the session.
A completed application is required to attend the orientation on February 12.
The studio is located at 11 Commerce Road in Newtown.
People who reside in the following towns are eligible for the internship: Bethlehem, Bridgewater Brookfield, Kent, Monroe, New Fairfield, New Milford, Newtown, Roxbury, Sherman, Southbury, Trumbull, Washington, Woodbury.
