Church Hill Crash
Motorist Jeanine Vanlierop, 40, of Norwalk, who was driving a commercial 1995 Ford van westward on Church Hill Road about 5:55 pm November 2, was making a left turn onto Commerce Road, when a noncontact vehicle entered the intersection from a commercial driveway, causing the Ford to swerve to the left to avoid it, police said.
In making that maneuver, the Ford collided with a commercial 2003 Ford F-250 pickup truck driven by David Potter, 44, of Brookfield, which was stopped at a red traffic signal on Commerce Road, police said.
There were no injuries. Police issued Vanlierop a written warning for making an improper turn.
