Margaret M. Marusa

Margaret M. Marusa, 77, of Fairfield, died May 28 at St Vincent’s Medical Center, Bridgeport.

She was the mother of Michael Marusa and his wife, Katherine, of Newtown.

Born in Bridgeport, she was a Fairfield resident for more than 50 years, and a lifelong member of St Thomas Church. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael Marusa, she is also survived by three other sons, John Marusa and his wife, Debora, of Trumbull, Robert Marusa of Middletown, and Richard Marusa and his wife, Judith, of Shelton; six grandchildren; and her very close friend, Joseph Brown of Bridgeport.

Funeral services were held May 31 in the Lesko Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road in Fairfield Center, and in St Thomas Church with interment to follow in St Michael Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 300 Research Parkway, Meriden, CT 06450.
