Did You See President Bush’s State of the Union Address?

David Todd: “No, because I had no interest. I support [John] Kerry. I have a place in Vermont and always believed [former Vermont governor] Howard Dean to be overrated.”

Rob Bergeron: “I think George W. Bush is the man. Even though I didn’t watch the State of the Union address, I support him. I think he has done well with the War on Terrorism.”

Robert Lisi: “Yes, I watched the State of the Union address. I was really upset by [former general] Wesley Clark and John Kerry’s comments about Bush afterward regarding his lack of military experience. As a former guardsmen myself, I think [Bush] should have more respect. I am now writing a letter to the editor to the Connecticut Post that is a memo to Clark and Kerry [on the issue].”

Susan Klein: “I didn’t watch the State of the Union address because I was working. My husband would have more to tell you — he’s very politically involved! I, personally, hesitate to support some of Bush’s policies. I question them.”

Cynthia Koplobsky: “I used to be in the Army Reserves. I strongly support Bush, although I wasn’t able to watch the State of the Union address. I am trying to get out the vote to my friends because I think this [upcoming] election is important.”

Mary Thomas: “I watched part of the State of the Union address. I believe in some of what Bush says, like supporting our ongoing fight against terrorism, and would like to see some of it happen.”
