Daffodil Days
Are Coming
WILTON â The cold days of winter will soon give way to the American Cancer Societyâs Daffodil Days. The American Cancer Society is currently looking for local businesses to take part in Daffodil Days by coordinating sales of daffodils to employees and volunteers to help sell, pack, sort, or deliver flowers.
Anyone who is interested in serving as a workplace coordinator, or who would like to place an advanced order for fresh daffodils at $7 per bouquet, should contact the American Cancer Societyâs local office at 800-ACS-2345 by March 5.Â
Gifts of Hope (a double daffodil bouquet delivered anonymously to a cancer patient or others in need) are available for a $20 contribution.
To guarantee delivery to an office, a minimum of ten bouquets must be purchased. Purchases will support the American Cancer Societyâs local service programs for cancer patients and their families.Â
To volunteer to sell, pack, sort, or deliver during the week of March 22, call theAmerican Cancer Society at 203-563-0740 (press 3) for more information.
The American Cancer Society uses Daffodil Days to raise the funds for cancer research, education, advocacy, patient services and programs.
