Program Looks At Health Of Candlewood Lake

The Housatonic Valley Group of the Sierra Club will hold a meeting about the environmental health of Candlewood Lake on Tuesday, February 3, at 7:30 pm, in the community room of the Newtown Congregational Church’s church house at 41-A Main Street.

Larry Marsicano, executive director of the Candlewood Lake Authority, will give a PowerPoint presentation on the problems involved with the lake and the measures that are being taken, as well as those still needed to remedy the environmental concerns.

The public is invited to attend. The church house is located behind the Newtown General Store. Parking is available behind Edmond Town Hall.
