Michaelina S. Diamond

Michaelina “Lee” (Serreti) Diamond, 73, of Stratford, died on October 19 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford.

She was the sister of Norma D’Elia of Newtown.

Born in Bridgeport to the late Carmelo and Constance (Nardo) Serreti, she was a resident of Stratford for 25 years. Mrs Diamond was a retired assembler for the General Electric Company, retiring on October 20, 1992.

Survivors include her beloved son, Richard Diamond and his wife, Nancy, of Ansonia; a granddaughter, Bryana Diamond; her fiancée, Albert Rea of Stratford; two brothers, Frank Serreti of New Hampshire, and Pasquale Serreti of Stratford; another sister, Katherine Lisi of Derby; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on October 23 in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford, and in Holy Name of Jesus Church with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment was in St Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
