St Rose Planning Annual Holiday Boutique

St Rose of Lima parish will celebrate its fifth annual “You Can Never Have Enough Christmas,” a boutique of holiday treasures from around the world, on December 1–5. The event is presented in the parish hall of St Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, 46 Church Hill Road in Newtown.

The boutique will feature collectibles, including Hummel and Demdaco; Santas, snow people, holiday jewelry, nativity sets, house decorations, ornaments, Christmas wreaths; gifts for teachers and friends, and many one-of-a-kind treasures. Visa and MasterCard are now accepted.

The first night, Wednesday, December 1, will be a men-only shopping night from 7 to 10. There will be refreshments, free gift wrapping, and no admission charge.

There are no shopping hours scheduled for Thursday, December 2.

The gala opening will be celebrated on Friday, December 3, from 6 to 10 pm. Admission is $5 per person and includes a gift, live music, wine and cheese, in addition to the shopping.

Admission to the boutique is free on Saturday, December 4, from 10 am to 7 pm, and Sunday, December 5, from 8 am to 2 pm. The winning names in of the St Rose raffle will be drawn at 1:30 pm.

The boutique is sponsored by the Rev Robert Weiss, pastor, to help the parish’s building program.
