George R. Orlando, Jr, 38, of Sandy Hook, died unexpectedly September 10 at his home.

Mr Orlando was born in Bridgeport on July 3, 1968. He was a lifelong resident of Newtown and was employed in the carpentry field all of his working life with his grandfather and family.

He is survived by his mother, Bonnie (Fesh) Kostka and her husband, Henry, of Sandy Hook; a son, Steven Henderson; and two uncles, Mark Fesh of Roxbury and William Kowalski of Milford.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St Rose Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
