Washington Art Association Issues A Call To Artists And Crafters
WASHINGTON â Washington Art Association is looking for artists and crafters to submit work for its annual Christmas sale. A wide selection of art and crafts will be considered, including pottery, fine and graphic arts, jewelry, metalwork, small sculpture, knitting and weaving, woodwork, fused and blown glass, and more.
No portfolios, no manufactured or imported crafts, work from kits, or artificial floral crafts will be accepted. Work should be ready to hang, and is limited to two pieces per artist. Maximum size for work is 45 by 45 inches.
The Christmas sale will open November 23, and run through December 24. Receiving days for submitted items are November 17 and 18 from 10 am to 5 pm each day. The entry fee is $15. The Art Association retains 30 percent of the sale price of each item.
