On Earth Day

To the Editor:

Newtown did it again! On Earth Day, nine volunteers arrived in our driveway. They brought tools, smiles, and energy as they assisted in beautifying our property. They raked, planted, and painted non-stop.

We wish to thank each of them for their time and commitment.

Thank you to the Big Y volunteers: Adell (AJ), Courtney, Alicia, Shan, and Keith and to the WIN group: Sue, Alison, Peggy, and Wendy.

The coordinating of the project was done by the Newtown Youth & Family Services, to whom we are grateful.
