Four-Vehicle Crash

Police report that motorist Theresa Hennesey, 43, of 37 Eden Hill Road was driving a 1997 Mercury Mountaineer sport-utility vehicle northward on South Main Street, near its intersection with Glover Avenue, about 6 pm December 15, when the Mercury failed to stop in time and collided with the rear end of a stopped 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Muta Fernanda, 26, of Miramar, Fla.

The impact of that crash pushed the Jeep forward into the rear end of a stopped 1998 Dodge Avenger driven by Vincent Graziano, 53, of Brookfield, police said.

That impact pushed the Dodge forward into the rear end of a stopped 2001 Honda driven by Cheryl Nethercott, 24, of Danbury, police said.

There were no injuries in the multivehicle crash, police said. Police issued Hennessey an infraction ticket for driving an unreasonable distance apart.

Mile Hill Collision

Motorist Berea Bruccoleri, 16, of 11 Palestine Road, who was driving a 2000 Ford Ranger pickup truck, was stopped at a traffic signal on westbound Mile Hill Road, near South Main Street, about 10:24 pm December 12, police said.

Motorist Michael Keen, 42, of New Fairfield, who was driving a 1997 Toyota Corolla, then drove into the rear end of the Ford, police said. There were no injuries. Police issued Keen an infraction ticket for following too closely.
