The Friends of the C.H. Booth Library will present speaker John Kozuchowski and âReducing Our Carbon Footprint: Cooling Connecticut,â part of the ongoing âHot or Notâ series of topics on global warming, Tuesday, April 22, at 7 pm.
Mr Kozuchowski is an environmental consultant and member of Climate Change Stockholders. He holds an MS in water resource management from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry and a BS in biology and environmental studies from Syracuse University.
An advisor for the City of Danbury and the Housatonic Valley Association, last year Mr Kozuchowski received the Friends of Watershed Award from the HVA for his contributions in climate change research design.
He has also taught at WestConn and the University of New Haven, including a course on air pollution and a unit on global warming.
Mr Kozuchowski will provide examples of small steps individuals can take to reduce their impact on greenhouse gases at the Tuesday evening discussion.
