Wilfred D. ‘Bill’ Potter, Jr

Wilfred D. Potter, Jr, formerly of Newtown, died January 12 at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, N.H.

He was born in Groton, Mass., July 25, 1920, son of the late Wilfred D. Potter, Sr, and Florence (Frye) Potter.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Beatrice (Lewis) Potter; daughter, Linda L. Glover and son-in-law, James T. Glover of West Dover, Vt.; a son, Edward D. Potter of Los Angeles, Calif.; granddaughter, Debra L. Glover of Bethel; a grandson, James P. Glover of Bethel; a sister, Elizabeth Stewart of Bradenton, Fla.; and cousins, nieces and nephews.

Mr Potter was part owner of Fair Auto Supply of Danbury for many years.

A memorial Service will be held on April 29 at the Meeting House in Newtown.
