The Majority’s Mistake

To the Editor:

The election is over but what needs to be done is to look at some of the issues the Democrats have brought us in the past and what we can expect from them in the future.

Education — The Democrats have continued to thwart efforts to allow school vouchers so inner city kids and parents can have a choice to send their children to successful private schools instead of keeping them trapped in failing public schools dominated by teachers unions whose only interest is continuing to corrupt young minds with their left wing ideology. They have no interest in the education of the children, only lining the pockets of Democrat politicians and the union.

Tax Policy — The Democrats have a history of encouraging class warfare by instituting tax policy that encourages dependence on government and seeks to destroy free enterprise and capitalism. Castigating the so called “rich” in an effort to pit one group of people against another. Why? To buy votes and do everything they can to keep themselves in power.

Abortion — Democrats continue to support the murder of unborn babies, and in the case of the President-elect, even if the newborn were to survive the initial abortion. In Connecticut a teenager needs parental permission to go to a tanning salon but not to murder her baby. Why? To kowtow to the fanatics in the women’s movement who believe a pregnancy is an inconvenience. My only question in regards to this issue is how do you Democrats sleep at night?

National Security — The Democrats were all gung ho when things were going well in Iraq, a war most of them voted in favor of and then when things became more difficult they turned tail and scurried away. They undermined a President in time of war and insulted and demeaned troops in battle. In another words they committed treason. We now can look forward to an incompetent in the White House with the infantile notion that we can talk to the people in this world that would do anything in their power to kill us.

Same Sex Marriage — The Democrats continue to support the destruction of the morals and values that have kept humankind stable since its beginnings. Equating the abnormal behavior of a tiny minority of people with the legal and moral sanctity of marriage and the family.

I can go on and on but I believe you get the picture. The President-elect is a corrupt political hack from Chicago who never had an original political thought in his life unless it was written for him. You can learn a lot about a person by who their friends are. He is a person who has aligned himself with a domestic terrorist who hates this country, William Ayers, and a professional racist and bigot who also hates this country, Reverend Wright, whose church he sat in for 20 years.

The country is strong and hopefully will survive until a majority of the American people wake up and realize the mistake they have made.
