Casting A Vote For Bolinsky
By Robert Morey
To the Editor:
I first met Mitch Bolinsky several years ago when he and I served together on Newtown's Economic Development Commission on which we worked to support and attract businesses to town to both add to the business community and to help lighten the property tax load on homeowners. I have always found Mitch to be thoughtful, reasonable, and approachable. He was that way when I first met him, and he is that way now.
I am realtor here in Newtown, and Mitch has always had a good relationship with the real estate community and has worked very hard to protect property rights and to prevent additional costs and fees from being added to the home buying and home selling processes which are so vital to both our economy and to the American dream of home ownership. Mitch has gone out of his way to meet with our local Board of Realtors both here in Newtown and in Hartford, as well, so that the our concerns, and those of our clients and customers could be addressed.
Mitch has demonstrated the courage to fight for both our town at the state level and for our state to begin to live within its means. I applaud those efforts, and I will proudly cast my vote for Mitch on November 8.
