Waldorf School Annual Foreign Language Assembly
Waldorf School Annual Foreign Language Assembly
Each spring the students in first through eighth grade at Housatonic Valley Waldorf School perform in a foreign language assembly. They recite poetry, sing songs, write and act in various skits in both Spanish and German. All are invited by the school to the assembly scheduled for Saturday, March 26, at 10 am, at Newtown Middle School on Queen Street. A comprehensive display of student work will also be on display in the lobby during the event.
Students at the Housatonic Valley Waldorf School receive instruction in both Spanish and German from the first through the eighth grade several times per week with the goal of increasing cultural competence, enhancing flexibility in thinking, and creating global citizens.
