Lionelle W. Champagne

Lionelle W. “Lee” Champagne, 75, of Naugatuck, died May 6, at Bridgeport Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Donovan) Champagne. He was born in Goffstown, N.H., November 22, 1936, to Simone (Duhaime) and William Champagne.

Lee was the loving father of three children, including William, and his wife Laurie, of Newtown; and the caring grandfather of 12.

He was employed as a security guard by Securitas Security Service and was a longtime resident of Bridgeport and Ansonia before moving to Naugatuck in 2010.

Mr Champagne was also an avid New York sports fan, rooting particularly for the Mets and the football Giants.

Funeral services took place May 9. Burial was at Riverside Cemetery, Shelton.
