PEKALE’S ROSLYN STREET FAIR CANCELLED DUE TO CONSTRUCTION ON VIADUCT

ROSLYN, N.Y. — The village of Roslyn has cancelled Elias Pekale Shows’ Antiques Street Fair slated for May 20.

Extensive construction is taking place on the viaduct leading into the village. The mayor and the village trustees are concerned, as a result of the construction, with the loss of viable parking facilities for the event as well as a recent increase in vehicular accidents in the area.

“We are disappointed as you are with this late decision, however, we look forward to resuming the Antiques Fair, May 2008,” said Sheila Pekale.
