Passport Day At The Post Office

Newtown Post Office will be having a Passport Day on Saturday, May 20, from 9 am until 2 pm, in the lobby of the post office, 5 Commerce Road.

Applicants will need to bring a birth certificate and two forms of photo ID. Children under the age of 14 will also need to have both parents present or have a notarized letter from the absent parent.

All applicants must be present. Two- by two-inch passport photos will be available at a cost of $15 per application.

Application fees for the State Department are $67 for adults (anyone age 16 and over), and $52 for ages 15 and younger. There is also a $30 postal fee per application.
