A memorial service for Louise James Gerry will be conducted Saturday, January 21, at 1 pm, in the Greens Farms Congregational Church, 71 Hillandale Road, Westport.

Mrs Gerry, of Newtown, wife of Glenn Gerry, died October 29, at her home. She was born November 11, 1931, at home in Westport, daughter of Emma (Wohlforth) and Michael James.

Prior to moving to Newtown 11 years ago, she was a resident of Westport.

Survivors in addition to her husband of 62 years include two sons, Stephen W. Gerry of Newtown and Michael W. Gerry, and his wife Debbi, of Riverside, Calif.; two daughters, Judith Platt, and her husband George, of Randleman, N.C., and Evelyn Eastman, and her husband Bryan, of Norway, Maine. Seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two siblings also survive Mrs Gerry.
