Boys U13
Strikers 7, Berkshire United 3 â Thomas Capozziello, Daniel Lynch and Kyle Moore scored two goals apiece and Daniel Hufziger added one to lead the Strikers. Capozziello and Lynch provided two assists while Russell Morgan had one. Michael Gould was strong on defense. Kyle Wildman played well in the net.
Boys U12
Litchfield 2, Force 1 â Justin Brophy scored the lone goal for Newtown on a penalty shot. Thomas Healy and Francis Afriyie played well in the midfield and Travis LeBlanc anchored the defense.
New Fairfield 3, Force 1 â John Imbimbo scored the goal for Newtown. Austin Puleri and Joe VanVeen played well on offense and Tommy Stewart and Josh Gilbert controlled the midfield.
Girls U11
Flash 8, Litchfield 1 â Kelsey Karp and Stephanie Roman scored two goals apiece to lead the Flash. Bridget Power, Brittany Tolla, Kristiana Engler and Melissa Buccino also scored.
Girls U10
Brookfield 2, Jaguars 1 â Taylor Brady scored the lone Newtown goal as Karlie Kuligowski, Jaclyn Daily and Abbie Kuligowski played an aggressive and inspired game versus an undefeated Brookfield squad.

Boys U14
Clash 4, Torpedoes 0 â Austin Jones scored twice and James Radcliff scored once to lead the Clash. James Holcomb had an assist and Alex Woloszynski was strong on offense while Andrew Vonbini had a clean sheet in the goal. For the Torpedoes, Chris Winters and Ian Hripak led the offensive push while Walker Mansfield and Kevin Dill anchored the defense.
Beverly Hillbillies 3, Flying Chipmunks 0 â Gavin Scallon scored a goal and Dan OâConnor was solid in net to lead the Hillbillies. Luke Piazza had a strong game in the midfield and Matt Ryan was excellent on defense. For the Chipmunks, Cameron Clark had a strong game at left wing, Jimmy Russo was aggressive in the midfield, Max Eckert was strong on offense and Tim Bock and Brian Kruger were strong everywhere.
Girls U14
Hyper Hippos 2, Turf Trashers 1 â Jillian Thompson and Katie Howell scored to lead the Hippos to the win. Courtney Beckett and Bianca LeBlanc played well. For the Trashers, Anna Chamiec-Pauneto scored while Alex Fogelberg, Alex Klein and Lisa Ferrari played well.
Tigers 4, Hyper Hippos 2 â Jennifer VanVeen scored two goals while Kasturi Mitra and Rachel Gregoire scored one apiece to lead the Tigers. Justin Paproski had an assist. For the Hippos, Kayla Buckley and Mallory Reilly scored while Mara Scallon and Allison Blume had solid performances.
Tigers 1, Unknowns 0 â Jennifer VanVeen scored the lone goal in a win over the Unknowns. Alexis Black, Jessica McDonald and Kelly VanVeen played well. For the Unknowns, Danielle Capozziello and Matilda Dean worked hard across the entire field. Emma Iannini had many good drives toward goal and Kayla OâLeary played really well on both offense and defense.
Sharpshooters 1, Hurricanes 0 â Isabel Gleason scored the lone goal off an assist from Caroline Lawrence. Clare Donnelly, Lauren Meyers and Jane Sclafani played well. For the âCanes, Emily Audet and Kyra Smith were solid in goal as Anna Bernath, Christie Iorfino and Samantha Whitley played well on defense.
Girls U10
Fire 1, Comets 0 â Lindsay Jossick scored the lone goal to lead the Fire. Molly Arneth, Paige Kroha and Maddy Good played well. For the Comets, Sarah Stofko, Ryan Cassin, Kate Fallon and Sydney Hutchison had solid performances.
Ligers 3, Funky Monkeys 2 â Lindsey Pearlman scored twice and Sally Martinelli scored once off an assist from Meaghan Brophy to bring the Ligers to victory. Margot Trainer and Trisha Sullivan protected the net while Madeline Fletcher and Kacy Caplan kept a tight reign on D. For the Monkeys, Jilliana Ciamarra and Julie LaPerch scored as Olivia Sergiovanni and Michelle Zarifis were outstanding in goal.
Boys U10
Average Joeâs 4, Power Pigs 0 â Mergim Barjraliu, James Marusi, Ricky Fuentas and Will Carr all scored to lead the Joeâs to the win. Conner Hanley and David Csordas played great on defense. For the Pigs, Taylor Rutter, Alex Weber and Jonathan Vaughan were strong on defense while Justin Germak and Stephen Walsh played well in goal.
Strikers 5, Pulverizing Peanuts 0 â Sean Watkins and Drew Sullivan scored two goals apiece and Luca Imbimbo added another to lead the Strikers. Ben Galassi assisted with tenacious play on offense. For the Pulverizing Peanuts, Alec Beauchemin and Knute Johnson turned in strong performances on offense with Henry Summ and Thomas Floros displaying good defensive moves.
Girls U8
Munchkins 6, Tigers 1 â Amy Martinelli scored three times while Danielle Agugliaro, Geralyn Klein and Caroline Tanner each scored once to lead the Munchkins. Avery Higham and Sydney DiMartino both had great games. For the Tigers, Julia Rist, Molly Begg and Hannah Hripak were tireless on offense and defense while Emma Burns played terrific defense.
Mustangs 1, All Stars 1 â Jessica Toller of the Mustangs and Shelby Tolla of the All Stars scored the lone goals in this 1-1 draw. Jessica Coughlin and Susan Ziegler had outstanding games for the âStangs while Stephanie Devaney was solid in goal. For the Stars, Clare Boyle and Emily Charash were aggressive on offense and Emily Jerris was strong in goal. Maren Brady had the assist on the Tolla goal.
Dolphins 4, Racing Stripes 2 â Caitlin Linden scored two goals to lead the Dolphins. Kelsey Muniz and Emily Turco added solo goals while Celia Gold and Kirsten Yapp played solid D. For the Stripes, Emily Riley and Taylor Lafave scored the goals as Christina DeBartolomeo played a very solid game on defense. Kelly Skewis played very well.
Ball Hogs 4, Fireballs 0 â Caitlin Filiato scored two goals and Julia Schoeni and Tess Stofko each scored a goal to lead the Hogs to the win. Victoria Teixeira was strong on defense. For the âBalls, Bailey Smith was strong in goal and Portia Baudisch and Marina Renzi were great at forward.
Lady Hawks 4, Huskies 2 â Meg Korchman scored two goals while Haley Ryan and Megan Milano each recorded a goal to lead the Hawks. Emily McCoy played outstanding and Brianna MacDonald was solid in goal. For the Huskies, Sarah Lynch had two goals and Lauren Wilcox and Mackenzie Casey played well.
Boys U8
Bulldogs 5, Tigersharks 4 â Clay Gattey scored three goals while William Kelchner and Nathyn Horvath scored one each to lead the Bulldogs and overshadow a four-goal performance by Conor Miller. Andri Henn played great in goal as Ryan King registered an assist for the âDogs while Forest Weatherby and Anthony Vournazos had assists while Nick Rohrbacher played great in goal for the âSharks.
Huskies 5, Fierce Jaguars 0 â Jordan Abraham, Robbie Schreiber, Michael Parker, Jared Brady and Declan Sullivan all scored goals to lead the Huskies. Andrew Svanda and Tim Moore played well for the Fierce Jaguars.
Supershooters 3, Scorpions 1 â Nicholas Genovese scored two goals and Travis Hanna added one to lead the âShooters to the win. Nathaniel Dowd played well. For the Scorpions, Blake Jarvis scored the lone goal as Vijay Makayee, Cooper Buonocore, and Colin Patrick played well.

Panthers 4, Nighthawks 2 â Evan Eggleston scored three goals and RH Clark had one to lead the Panthers to the win. Philip Coffey, Natalie Shaker and John Pierce played well. For the âHawks, Jackson Fletcher and Matthew Bucci scored as Ian Klepacki and Mackenzie Macchiarulo played well on D. Mallory Lobuglio played well in goal.
Torpedo Blue Jays 5, Sharks 2 â The Sharks came up short this week against the Blue Jays, but got great defensive performances from Zachary Anderson and goalie Barrett deYoung. Juliet Grover and Caroline Condon were solid on offense.
