Danbury Hospital To Host Bereavement Teleconference
DANBURY â New Milford Visiting Nurse Hospice and Regional Hospice will co-host Hospice Foundation of Americaâs 13th Annual National Bereavement Teleconference. âLiving With Grief: Pain Management at the End of Life â Bridging the Gap between Knowledge and Practiceâ will take place on Wednesday, April 5, from 1:30 to 4 pm, at Creasy Auditorium, Danbury Hospital.
The organizations will join 2,000 other organizations across the United States and Canada as a local host for the live-via-satellite teleconference.
The teleconference is open to health care professionals working in hospitals, home care, hospice care, nursing homes, clergy or pastoral care providers, members of bereavement support groups, college faculty and students, and all nonmedical individuals with an interest in the topic.
The free live teleconference will be broadcast all over the world. A local panel of experts will also take part. CEUs are available for $25, which must be paid the day of the teleconference.
